I’m Canadian but my American husband who works for an American company decided that after the kids went to school we would have a holiday at home. It was the best (and only) Memorial Day I’ve ever celebrated. Hope yours was great as well.
What a fun tradition up in Canada – I have always loved Memorial Day because it arrives just as it really begins to get warm (aka perfect excuse for a day off) and we get to honor our service members (my husband was a Marine for four years) who have done so much for us. I’m glad you guys celebrate it!
