Fabric of the Week: Tree House Interiors
December 17, 2009
There’s something about this fabric line that is so lovely and sweet — whether you use it to reupolhster an old chair, make pillows for the guest room or a little girl’s dress — it’s a simple, whimsical print that for me evokes day dreaming of far off lands.
The dark fuchsia below is my favorite. Check out the entire Harlequin line at Tree House Interiors.

Fabric of the Week: Susan Sargent
December 9, 2009I am long overdue to share one of my favorite fabrics… but I promise that this collection from Susan Sargent is worth the wait. Her gorgeous floral prints are modern with a hint of big botanical retro. I love them all! Check out her site to view the entire collection.
I’m ready to reupholster a fun sitting chair in this great patterned print! Or how about curtains for an office or a little girl’s room? This print would also make a great tablecloth or runner.

Fabric of the Week: Carolina Irving Textiles
October 27, 2009I adore Carolina Irving for so many reasons — from her clean, consistent look to her diverse offerings (you’ll find a block print, country floral, wide stripe and geometric pattern in her latest line, for example) that you really can’t go wrong with.
Former editor of House & Garden and Vogue Living, Carolina has always had a keen eye for fabric and fashion. While her line is still only available through select showrooms (my one big gripe with interior design-style collections), you may be able to nab a yard or swatch through eBay or perhaps even splurge through the traditional route. I’m eyeing this paprika Andaluz print for my dining room chairs…
Is there a fabric designer or a specific print that you love? Send it on over to Pepper as a ‘Fabric of the Week’ suggestion and share the secret with us all!
