Friday Guest Blog Interview: Janet of Living in a Nutshell & SPACEStv YouTube Channel

Happy Friday! I’m back with another awesome Friday Guest Blog Interview. It’s actually a two in one, because we’re featuring SPACEStv (that awesome new home and design YouTube channel that was just released) and Janet of Living in a Nutshell, a super stylish blogger with a fantastic little episode on SPACES, a new book and a lovely blog.

Have you heard of SPACEtv? A new YouTube channel that serves up home decorating ideas of all sizes – and it’s instantly available in cute little 5-15 minute chunks of delicious decorating morsels. I’m really loving discovering all of the various series! And if you’re like me and live sans cable, then this is an excellent HGTV alternative (plus, you can skip all of those pesky ads). A few of my favorites have been this inspirational Brooklyn loft crash, this roof deck on Urban Gardener, and of course, Janet’s eclectic How to Decorate a Small Apartment episode. So much goodness.

Janet is taking a few moments to answer our usual 4 design questions about her favorite trends, tips and design ideas. Janet is the voice behind Living in a Nutshell and her new book of the same title. How brilliant is that mix of color in the cover photo?

Friday Guest Blog Interview: Monica Pedersen

Happy Friday! We have had such a busy week here at the house – a new wall is near built! We just poured the concrete footings for a little raised garden bed and we’re about ready to officially start on the deck. Plus the house is alllmost finished with its exterior painting and we’re on to the windows next (still undecided on the trim – but thank you for the comments and emails! they have been really, really helpful).

Before the weekend arrives, I’ll send you off with a Friday Guest Blog Interview with none other than Monica Pedersen, the talented author behind Make It Beautiful and a designer on HGTV’s “Designed to Sell”. I am honored to have her join me at PDB today.

Friday Guest Blog Interview: Emily of Jones Design Company

Welcome to another Friday! Ahhh… I can already feel the adventurous (and relaxing) spirit of the weekend beckoning. There’s nothing like a good Friday.

I’m very excited to be joined by Emily of Jones Design Company today as I welcome another guest blogger to this very irregular Friday Guest Blog Interview series. I am always thrilled when I come across a like-minded blogger that someone somewhere recommends that I follow… and I hope that through this interview series you will find a few new wonderful, captivating blogs that you really dig, too. Plus it is always fun to hear design tips & tricks from other friendly and fun bloggers out there.

Jones Design Company is a blog that I have subscribed to for a while now primarily for the wonderful family values that Emily shares through her regular design/home related posts. She’s creative, thoughtful and very conscientious of the beauty of design – from the simple (a delicious recipe) to the detailed (the homey abode that she’s created for her family – a preview after the jump).
