Friday Guest Blog Interview: TomKat Studio!

I’m so excited for today’s feature!! Kim, of TomKat Studio, is a true ‘mom-preneur’: she runs a fabulous blog, an adorable Etsy shop and was recently the ‘Mama Power’ feature in one of Arizona’s top city magazines! Even TomKat is derived from her two little ones, Tommy + Kate. So when I asked if she wouldn’t mind sharing her favorite entertaining design & trend secrets… I was so excited for her ‘yes!’

If you haven’t heard of the DIY diva, you must check her amazing style out — I would include her among my favorite inspirations, especially in the paper genre (check out her Etsy site and you’ll know what I mean!). Le Poppy Designs: Party in a Pack!

I just found such a great Etsy site: Le Poppy Designs. If you love the wonderful {real parties} thrown by super-creative moms but just don’t have the time… maybe a Party in a Pack is just what you need! I think this is so genius — everything you need to have a stylish, fun event for your little one.

Had to share once I found it, it was too good to be true! The above cupcake toppers? $6. Outsourcing all of the little details means throwing a terrific party and saving a bit of sanity! And if you love making paper creations yourself, head on over to the Etsy site for great inspiration.

Celebration Inspiration: Mr. Man Party!

Christina, from the blog Full House, threw a very neat party to celebrate the 2nd birthday of her triplets! Since all little boys have one goal in life: to grow up and be big boys!, Christina took the idea and ran with it, creating this adorable Mr. Man celebration.

Chocolate lollipop mustaches proved to be a hit with all, and outfits made by Grandma – complete with mini ties (made from Dad’s old ties) – made the boys feel like Mr. Men. A clothesline displaying an assortment of ties and baby pictures adorned the yard in a creative spin on party flags.
