Amazon Fashion has asked me to put together a board highlighting some of my favorites. Lately I have been living in grey skinny ankle jeans and t-shirts or plaids, sometimes I’m even swapping the jeans out for shorts (ahhhh San Diego, you’re a crazy city). On my list for finding soon is a comfy pair of sneakers (I bought a pair of bensimons second hand to try out – not bad!) and possibly a new pair of sunglasses (though still loving these guys a lot). The mommy uniform and I are getting along really well lately. I have even parted with three of my used-to-be-favorite wool suits just recently and while it was a sad adieu, it was overdue given the working-from-a-coffeeshop days that fill most of my weeks. I guess make that years, now. I remember freshly graduating school and feeling that bit of power and strength that comes from a tailored suit. I can’t forget that feeling! It’s a nice feeling. I’ve kept a jacket or two for when I’m needing an umph. Until then, bring on the comfy jeans.

I know! But also they are so comfy. Haha.
Giving up those suits is hard, isn’t it? Even when I worked in an office, I found that most people weren’t wearing suits much anymore. Bring on the mom uniform! Great choices, too!
I have those shoes and I love them! I recently started a working from home job as well and it was kind of nice getting rid of my wool suits but I also kept one (from Jcrew) that was too good to get rid of although I’m hoping to never have to wear it again! :)
