Inspiration for Taylor’s 1st Birthday Party

June 2, 2014 by Morgan

I can not believe it has already been a year since we welcomed T into this world. That blows my mind right now. Sure enough though, in less than a month’s time little Taylor will be celebrating her big 1.

Taylor's 1st Birthday Party Inspiration | Yellow & Pink | PepperDesignBlog.com

paper garland | BHG | flower cake topper | pretty mustard & pink party | bruschetta slices | mango, blackberry, feta bites | lemon candy sticks | homemade sorbet | fringed drink stirrers

We’ve invited friends and family over to our house for a backyard bbq and dessert to celebrate!

I’m still a little all over the place with the menu and decorations, but as usual the goal is good food, simple but pretty decorations (time to start getting crafty :)) and yummy beverages. My dessert of choice at the moment? Homemade fruit sorbet. Perfect for a summer birthday party (I’m so used to winter with Liv as a January baby! This is fun!).

Can’t wait to share what we come up with. Happy Monday!

Love the color combination that seems to be coming together in all of this inspiration. I’m sure you’ll dazzle with another adorable party…can’t wait to see the results; and an early “Happy Birthday” to Taylor!
