Since I haven’t had a chance to *formally* do so… I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce myself during this Friday Interview series! It has been a true pleasure growing this site before your eyes and I cannot thank you enough for your readership and blogging love.

Pepper Design Blog is a little space offering inspiration for the inner design guru in each of us. It’s a site dedicated to sharing inspiring & innovative ideas for decorating your home, organizing your space & throwing the perfect party.

Celebrating with a Lavender & Lime Baby Shower

Lavender & Lime is the perfect inspiration for a baby shower for those Mamas waiting to find out ‘if it’s a boy or girl’! The theme is bright, cheery and still makes for a very girly celebration on a Sunday afternoon.

A few friends and I recently held a baby shower with this in mind, and here are a few of the ideas we came up with.

Decorations included: Martha Stewart lavender leaf scrapbooking paper for a table runner and napkin wraps, bright yellow poms to accent the theme, homemade petit fours in matching colors, lemon bars that were delicious! and favors tagged with a tiny clothespin to thank our guests for celebrating with us.

Assorted vintage white milk glass vases and fabric covered cylinder vases collected irises, mums, wild roses and daises. We lined vases in sliced limes and added teeny handmade paper butterfly cutouts for extra detail.

Covering vases in your favorite fabric is an easy way to incorporate pattern and color into your theme!…

Holiday Cocktails… Oh YUM!

It’s about that time of the year for HOLIDAY PARTIES! Whether you’ve been asked to bring a beverage or are hosting your own get-together… serve up some cheer with one of these delicious Christmas spirits.

Hostess with the Mostess shares several tasty {and pretty!} Chambord cocktails, including this White Chocolate Raspberry Martini.

And Martha knows what we love best… featuring several mouth-watering treats over at Martha Stewart Living, including the Cranberry Santa, Pink Grapefruit Margarita, Eggnog Martini and Cranberry Sparkler picture at top; as well as the Peppermint Hot Chocolate, Mulled Cranberry Cocktail and Mulled Wine pictured below.
