{Giveaway} from Vintage Paper Parade!

March 15, 2010 by Morgan

I’d like to introduce you to one of PDB’s new sponsors. You may have noticed the new button in the left hand column with this adorable image:

Vintage Paper Parade is a wonderful little Etsy shop featuring whimsical, stylish and vintage-inspired illustrations perfect for a baby or bridal shower, children’s birthdays or holiday fun.

Debra, the owner and designer, hand designs each image from children’s stories (and even stories told by her children) by keeping a notebook of sketches and choosing her favorites to add regularly to the shop. She calls Toronto home and launched A Spring Handmade Market to unite local Etsy artists earlier in 2009.

I adore the small, detailed tags! How perfect would they be for handmade party favors, gift packaging, or even to identify dessert buffet treats? The cupcake toppers and cards with elephants and circus tents follow as a close second (and did you see the fawn design?).

Vintage Paper Parade offers party packs and individual listings in most of the themes. You’ll definitely want in on this giveaway!

They are all great! I really liked the girl jumping rope cupcake toppers and the monogrammed card. My favorite party theme was a vintage doll party for my daughters 3rd birthday. It was fun, cute and very girly! Each guest brought a doll and we made bracelets, colored paper dolls, and stuffed a handmade doll made from vintage fabrics and accessories. Sweet party :)

I loved the nutty squirrel tags, and the Merci cards. And, well, everything is great!
My favorite party theme: for my daughter’s 9th bday we had a “kidnap” party. We drove to each guests house early on a Saturday (only their mom’s knew we were coming) and kidnapped them in their pjs and took them all to our house and had a big bday breakfast, with cake and ice cream too. The girls loved it.
